It’s great to have breakfast in the morning and take a good cup of coffee on the open deck or at bridge.
We expect to arrive in Arnarfjördur around eleven and soon as we cast of we start preparing to cruise ashore on RIB boats and go for an easy hike up to Dynjandi the waterfall.

We cast of around eight o’clock and head to Hornstrandir or Aðalvík on the top of the Westfjords depending on weather.
Crousing to Greenland
On the third day, we will wake up at Hornstrandir og Aðalvík. After a nice breakfast on board, we go ashore on RIB boats to en these beautiful isolated places.
After a couple of hours, we go back on board for lunch and start heading over to the East Coast of Greenland. We will cross the Arctic Circle while sailing from the Westfjords of Iceland to the East Coast of Greenland and cruise around 215nm. On the way, in daylight, we can expect to see big whales, fishing trawlers, and even Icebergs. Sunset is around six thirty and beautiful to watch.
We expect to be at Nansen Fjord Greenland around eight o’clock. It is quite a moment to be at the bridge by the captain when Greenland starts to appear with the sunrise.
Arriving in Mikifjord in Greenland in the afternoon. Going ashore to set foot on Greenland if the weather conditions are right.
First day in Greenland
We expect to be at Nansen Fjord Greenland around eight o’clock in the morning. It is quite a moment to be at the bridge by the captain when Greenland starts to appear with the sunrise.
We sail into Nansen Fjord up to the place where the Glacier crumbles into the sea and the Icebergs start floating off. If the conditions are right we go ashore in a safe distance from the glacier.
In Nansen Fjord, we have a great chance to see Polar Bears which also means that our guides are on extra alert armed with riffles ready to take action.
We spend the morning till the middle of the day in this spectacular fjord cruising on Argus and the RIB boats to discover the Icebergs and places ashore.
After a great cruise in Nansen Fjord, we start heading to Mikkifjord where we will arrive in the evening and cast off anchor. On the way you can experience the great East Coast of Greenland in comfort on the deck or in the hot tub.
Iceberg adventures
Great day ahead of us starting with a good breakfast and then off to exploring the Mikkifjord. We are going ashore and hike towards an abandoned airstrip with all kinds of vehicles and things that were left behind and nature is slowly eating away. A place where many photographers love to find some interesting angles and perspectives of man vs. nature.
We spend the day in Mikkifjord and head to Kangerlussuaq Fjord east Greenland in the afternoon arriving in the evening.
Iceberg adventures
Every day is an adventure on board Argus but this one is the highlight for many. We wake up in Kangerlugssuaq fjord and soon get ready to go out on the RIB boats cruising the fjord by the Icebergs and up to the glacier where the ice crumbles into the ocean. We go ashore and hike up to the glacier and experience it up close. Here we can expect moments that you will never forget seeing the ice break off into the ocean is a powerful experience.
Later in the day, we cruise to an Island to take a look at an abandoned weather station that can give us a little feeling of how hard it is to live there and how strong the forces of nature can be.
The glacier in Kangerlugssuaq is one of the fastest-moving glaciers in Greenland and we can expect a lot of activity of the glacier crumbling into the ocean and the Icebergs floating off to open sea.
After an exciting day full of adventure it is great to come aboard get some refreshment and go in the hot tub for relaxation.
